Magdalene's Gifts of Creation Kindness

I have been awarded my first blog award! What a lovely surprise from my new friend Magdalene Rose Lima - Fuellos (gotta love that name!) who I met in my studio a few weeks ago. Thank you for choosing me.






Please visit her blog and her Etsy shop . She does lovely work. My favorite of hers is her depiction of the beach after visiting Amelia Island which is this one. She has been following two blogs of the artists in the Blue Door, Casey Matthews and Wyanne who I will nominate for the lovely blog award today.

To the left is a necklace I bought from Casey a few weeks ago that I love...It is called Mermaid Tears...I loved it the moment I saw it. I didn't know the name when I bought it - but I was just drawn to it for some reason. When she told me the name about a week ago, I loved it even more. I have always been a woman drawn to the water - (have Aquarius rising), and being the "Sensitive Sue" everyone called me growing up, the tears kind of mirror how freely I let them flow sometimes - I can cry for just about anything...a newborn baby, a pretty sunset, etc, etc......! So, it made me smile to learn its name.

Here is one I love from Wyanne's blog called "Trust Grow.... Love" a commission she painted, and she writes about her daughter Logan taking a class recently where she stood on a horse - aptly noting that it was unusual to have an event coincide AFTER you painted something. That was really interesting.
